SHIFT LEADER JOB SUMMARY

As a Shift Leader at Timmy T's, you will supervise and guide team members, ensuring efficient completion of tasks such as food preparation, customer service, and cleaning. Responsible for opening or closing the restaurant, training new staff, and enforcing company policies. Monitor inventory, handle customer inquiries, manage cash, and collaborate with management to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

PAY

$ 20.00 - $31.00

What You’ll Learn & Do:

Week 1: Start with the basics of daily operations:

​

  • Greeting customers and running the register

  • Answering phones and bagging orders

  • Prepping ingredients

  • Learning how to make our signature sandwiches​

Weeks 2–4 (11AM–8PM): Learn and master the line / core tasks:​

​

  • Perfecting sandwich making

  • Following cleaning and closing procedures

  • Continued food prep and organization

  • Learning to safely operate our meat slicer

Weeks 5–9 – Opening Training (Start time: 5AM): We’ll train you to open the shop and lead morning operations:​

​

  • Mastering bread preparation and baking

  • Slicing fresh produce using our slicer

  • Preparing all ingredients and stations for the lunch rush

  • Guiding and supporting the team as they arrive for their shifts

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Must be dependable and punctual

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Able to follow opening procedures

  • Previous food service or shift lead experience preferred

  • Must be available for full training schedule
