SHIFT LEADER JOB SUMMARY

As a Shift Leader at Timmy T's, you will supervise and guide team members, ensuring efficient completion of tasks such as food preparation, customer service, and cleaning. Responsible for opening or closing the restaurant, training new staff, and enforcing company policies. Monitor inventory, handle customer inquiries, manage cash, and collaborate with management to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

PAY

$ 20.00 - $31.00

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SHIFT LEADER AT TIMMY T'S

  • Oversee and supervise the team members during your shift, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed.

  • Ensure that all tasks and responsibilities are completed efficiently and accurately, including food preparation, customer service, and cleaning duties.

  • Open or close the restaurant as scheduled, following proper procedures for setting up or closing down equipment, securing the premises, and completing necessary paperwork.

  • Assist in training new team members and ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner, striving to provide excellent customer service at all times.

  • Perform cash handling duties, including counting cash drawers, reconciling sales transactions, and preparing bank deposits.

  • Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in the food service industry.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.

  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
