DELIVERY DRIVER JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a reliable delivery driver to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, uphold traffic regulations, maintain vehicle upkeep, and provide friendly and enjoyable service.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A DELIVERY DRIVER AT TIMMY T'S

Safely and efficiently deliver fresh Timmy T’s grinders to customers’ homes, offices, schools, and events using a company-owned vehicle.
Ensure every order is complete and accurate (sandwiches, drinks, chips, sauces) before leaving the store.
Use GPS and local knowledge to choose the fastest, most efficient routes for on-time deliveries.
Provide friendly, professional customer service at every drop-off, you represent the Timmy T’s brand.
Communicate promptly with customers and the store team if there are delays, traffic issues, or address questions.
Follow all traffic laws and drive responsibly at all times.
Keep delivery vehicle clean and presentable.
Assist in-shop (answering phones, light prep, organizing orders) during slower delivery periods when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (preferred for delivery duties).
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills are essential to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage deliveries and keep track of inventory effectively.
Food Handler’s Permit: Willingness to obtain a food handler's permit if not already certified.
Time Flexibility: Ability to work nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed.
Experience: Previous food service or delivery experience is a plus. (Uber, DoorDash, Grubhub, etc. experience is a plus, but not required).
Positive Attitude: Ability to stay calm under pressure and work well in a team-oriented environment.
